Crazy but cool piercings~ CORSET

You would not believe the peircings some people would get.

WARNING: You may not wanna see the next few posts if you are weak of heart.

CORSET:
Honestly, this is my absolute favorite peircing EVER. I LOVE corsets, and I just think the look is gorgeous.
What's that you say? Would I ever get it? Why thank you Mr./Miss. Person-I-made-up-to-help-me-write-my-blog, for asking a question.

The answer is no. The peircing is AWESOME, I think, but it takes great care, probably get's snagged on clothing, and probably down right difficult to take care of period. Looks painful too, depending on where you get it.

Corset piercings are purly ment for girls, just like corsets. If you guys wanna get it, be my guest, but it's very rare to see a dude with it. VERY. What a corset piercing is is a set of rings pierces basically parallel of eachother, with a ribbon woven through them to look like the ties on a corset. The most popular place to get this piercing is the back, but plenty of girls get them on their legs, arms, even between their breasts.

ANOTHER WARNING: Alot of these women are shirtless to expose the piercing. None of them show anything, but they are partially nude. PLZ don't yell at me...

HAVE SOME PICTURES.

Different Kinds

If people have seen me, they know how I feel about piercings and tattoos. I have snake bites myself, so it's obvious that I accept and embrace piercings. And although I don't have a tattoo, I plan to get one very soon.

Although I'm all for the embroidery of one's own body as a form of art, I'm also all for doing it responsibly. No one wants to regret their choice, and no one wants to risk their health.

I'm all for having piercings and tattoos, but I'm for having them smartly. It's very important.

There's many kinds of piercings, MANY kinds.

There are also 5 different female genital
piercings, and 10 other male genital
piercings. BUT I erased them from this
list because you can look up those on your own time.

How can tattoos interfere with your life?

With piercing's, it's different. After they heal, you can take most out, and it'll be perfectly fine. The worst is you have what looks like a deep dimple on wherever you pierced, and if you pierced somewhere concealable, you don't even have to worry. Somewhere like your belly button, tongue, or nipple.

WARNING:
Having a nipple or a tongue pierced is actually really harmful. Only a small amount of people who get either pierced have had a completely successful healing process! Lots of problems can happen, especially to the tongue! Getting either of these piercings is ill advised.

ANYWAY~
The point is, although piercings still affect things like getting a job, you can almost always remove them. Only with some special piercings with you have them embedded into you. ( Yes, those exist. I'll write about it next blog. )

But tattoos you'll have forever. Where you put your tattoo is just as important as what you get a tattoo of!

Here are good ideas for tattoos:

http://favoritetattoo.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/love-tatoo.jpg Not the best, seeing as you won't ALWAYS wear long sleeves. But it's okay, because you don't need to cover them up all the time. It'll defeat the purpose of getting a tattoo if no one will ever see it! THERE ART. But, it's art you have to be smart with. Just be sure you wear long sleeves during a job.

http://www.types-of-flowers.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/lily_tattoos.jpg Huge tattoo, but PERFECT placement. All you have to to is wear a full length shirt, and you're GOLDEN. A lot of people say the bigger the tattoo, the worse the consequences. And that's true, to an extent. But if you know what you're getting into, and understand the consequences, and STILL wanted a huge tattoo, GO FOR IT! No one's stopping you, it's your thing. But again, make sure you think it over really well. And think about this picture. It's perfectly concealable, almost TOO easy. Keep in mind the good placement.

There called "Black Light" tattoos, because you can only see them under, yes, you guessed it, a black light! And almost any job that has a black light anywhere probably doesn't care that you have a little ink. I can see the draw backs, because not a lot of people will be able to see it, but it's smart for exactly that reason.

NOW! Onto the stupid ideas.
The really stupid ideas.

http://www.natyu.com/images/stories/bodytats%20tattoos%20women.jpg Full body covering. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE these. I'm a full on art fan, and I think these are gorgeous. that doesn't make them right though. If you want to go for it, then go for it. But just beware the problems that might come with it.

WORST KIND OF TATTOOS YOU CAN GET:
FACE TATTOOS

There cool. But not cool enough to get them perminatly on their face. I understand other tattoos you want to show off, and put in plain sight, because if you understand what you're getting into, and still want to go for it, it's your decision. But in my opinion, a face tattoo, unless part of a cultural tribe you're in, is down right dumb. Look awesome. Aren't awesome to live with. Not at all.

Tattoos- Many love them, but are there risks?

There are proven studies that show how popular tattooing is now a days. Many people get them to decorate, to show off, or even to dedicate. It also is pretty popular not just with the younger group, but also with people aging over 65. But although it is wildly excepted, it can be vary harmful.

"

The following are the primary complications that can result from tattooing:

  • Infection. Unsterile tattooing equipment and needles can transmit infectious diseases, such as hepatitis and skin infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus ("staph") bacteria. Tattoos received at facilities not regulated by your state or at facilities that use unsterile equipment (or re-use ink) may prevent you from being accepted as a blood or plasma donor for twelve months.
  • Removal problems. Despite advances in laser technology, removing a tattoo is a painstaking process, usually involving several treatments and considerable expense. Complete removal without scarring may be impossible.
  • Allergic reactions. Although FDA has received reports of numerous adverse ractions associated with certain shades of ink in permanent makeup, marketed by a particular manufacturer, reports of allergic reactions to tattoo pigments have been rare. However, when they happen they may be particularly troublesome because the pigments can be hard to remove. Occasionally, people may develop an allergic reaction to tattoos they have had for years.
  • Granulomas. These are nodules that may form around material that the body perceives as foreign, such as particles of tattoo pigment.
  • Keloid formation. If you are prone to developing keloids—scars that grow beyond normal boundaries—you are at risk of keloid formation from a tattoo. Keloids may form any time you injure or traumatize your skin. Micropigmentation: State of the Art, a book written by Charles Zwerling, M.D., Annette Walker, R.N., and Norman Goldstein, M.D., states that keloids occur more frequently as a consequence of tattoo removal." - Galegroup.com
Not only that, but it can even result in complications if you ever need an MRI.

I personally like the ideas of tattoos, but if I ever get one, I wanna make sure to do my homework.

Do you know what you want?

OK, you can legally and parentally get a tattoo, the next step is finding something with meaning. Sure, the tattoo flash that you see on the walls at your local tattoo parlor may be cool but generic art won't be unique to you. Take a flash image that you like and modify it to speak to your personality. Choose a tattoo with meaning for you and you can't go wrong.

Do you know the risks?

There are risks associated with tattooing beyond the obvious short term pain. Unsanitary tattoo parlors do exists and they can be deadly. There are always risks of allergic reactions and disease transmission when you have a tattoo done. You can reduce the risk by knowing about health risks and what tattoo parlors should be doing to keep you safe before getting inked.

Have you found a good artist?

The difference between a nice tattoo and an amazing tattoo all comes down to the artist. A good artist can make your tattoo dreams a reality but a bad artist can turn your tattoo experience into a nightmare. Be picky, this tattoo will be with you for life and longer.

Are you ready to take care of the tattoo?

Tattoos require aftercare in order to avoid infection. Are you ready to look after your tattoo? Do you know what it means to care for a tattoo while it is healing? Everything you need to know about helping your new tattoo heal.

Make sure you know you're going to a safe parlor. Because the only one who'll regret it is you.
